Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. That same year, she recorded her first album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character opposed her perceived image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made her name as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. Her childhood was spent there as well as her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
