April Bowlby
April Bowlby is an American actress and model from the United States. She has portrayed Kandi for her role on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actress best known for playing Stacy Barrett in the American Legal Comedy drama/fantasy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the comedy series Two and a Half Men. Her professional career began as modeling and later she branched out into film and television series. Her first appearance on small screen was in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and was followed by appearances on a single episode in different series. In Two and a Half Men, Bowlby was cast as Kandi. Bowlby's portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her not only fame but also recognition across the globe. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web-based series Titans. In the spin-off from Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby was also featured in TV films such as Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter. Her debut on the big screen was in All Roads Lead Home. She then appeared in films like The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. Her move to the area was when she was a child. After completing ballet classes and French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting career. She took drama classes with Ivana Chubbuck. She was offered the role of a leading TV series (Kandi as a character in Two and a Half Men) within months of her debut Hollywood audition. Bowlby has appeared on many TV series including CSI and CSI: NY as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney and Stacked in 2005 as Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in 2007. More recently Bowlby played the part of Natasha as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 film about a 12-year-old year old girl that loses her mother in a car collision. Bowlby plays Mia as Natasha in The Slammin Salmon, a comedy movie due to release in 2008. Bowlby is from Los Angeles. Her hair is red with blue eyes. The woman is single and has no children.
