
Carrie-Anne Moss, born August 21, 1967 is a Canadian actress from Canada. She gained fame due to her role as Trinity in The Matrix (1999-present) after performing a number of characters on television. Memento (2000) was her first major role. She was awarded the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Supporting Character, Red Planet (2000). Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006). Snow Cake (2006) earned her the Genie Award, Best Performance by an Actress. Disturbia (2007). Unthinkable (2010). Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) included among her television roles. Moss was a resident in Spain at the time, was given the role of Tara Marshall as the clerk of Judge Nicholas Marshall, in Dark Justice. This was her first television appearance. With the series, she relocated from Barcelona to Los Angeles in 1992. Moss was forced to leave Dark Justice after the third and last season. Elisa Heinsohn replaced her as Samantha "Sam". Following her return to the USA, she enrolled at American Academy of Dramatic Arts Pasadena. She was a model and starred in Models Inc., a Fox primetime soap opera. The show was cancelled in July 25, 1995. Matrix was a brief-lived made in Canada show. [3] Throughout the 1990s she appeared in various television shows, including Street Justice and Baywatch. She also appeared in F/X: The Series and Due South. Due South earned her a nomination in the Gemini Award for Best Guest actor in the field of Drama. Most of her film roles in the decade were in B movies, including Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill (1994), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996) as well as The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
